I serve as the Physineering Club President, responsible for conducting weekly meetings and lectures, coordinating and leading in various competitions. We are focusing on four team competitions this year: FYKOS, Kwantlen Science Challenge, UBC Physics Olympics, and CSDCMS (CANSAT) Challenge.
I co-organized vsHacks 2025, an online hackathon where participants built functional prototypes within two days. During planning, I sought sponsorship, created and managed the Devpost registration portal, and updated our website. During the event, I conducted a GitHub workshop for beginners and served on the judging panel to coordinate prize announcements and distribution.
I serve as Vice President of Ucode Club in grades 11 and 12. In grade 11, I hosted in-club coding competitions and contributed to problem creation. In grade 12, I teach members fundamental web development skills including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
In grade 11, I mentored the grade 8 Math Challengers Team and helped them achieve second place in Math Challengers Regional. I gathered them regularly for practice and taught new concepts. I am looking forward to mentoring them again this year.
I serve as a full-time math mentor at Learning Buddies Network, a non-profit organization. I mentor my buddy in math every Monday and Wednesday after school. I emphasize preparation beforehand to provide engaging and efficient lessons. I am currently paired with a grade 6 student.
